After finally using up my stash of travel miniatures, I desperately needed a new perfume. I wanted something that was easy to wear for the day to day. Spotted, amongst the gift sets of talcum powder and the beautiful rose gold packaging of her new make up line, was the Summer Rose Eau de Parfum by Rosie for Autograph. Though a bit of a mouthful to say, it was love at first sight (and smell) so a bottle fell into my basket at the first chance I got.
Deliciously fresh and floral, it is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for and I can’t stop wearing it. Plus, the scent is really long lasting which makes it pretty darn perfect.
It is the packaging which really stole the show. I never thought a perfume bottle could double as decoration on my shelf but Summer Rose does just that. With rose gold detailing on the lid and front, it is stunning. There’s also a floral decal on the back that I wish I could size up into a print for my wall. Seriously, this bottle is better looking than most things in my flat.
The price is pretty reasonable too – it was £28 for 75ml which is pretty good value for money. It certainly is cheaper than the Marc Jacobs concoction that I used to wear and this one is cruelty free too. All in all, I think it may just be the perfect summer perfume! The only problem is that now that I have tried one thing from the Rosie for Autograph line, and loved it quite this much, I’m desperate to try some more of her makeup. I have my eyes set on one of the eyeshadow quad. I think it may be a good idea that I don’t have a Marks & Spencers nearby!
