If you haven’t already heard about The Northern YA Literary Festival, you are in for a treat. On the 24th March 2018, Preston is host to a full day of YA centred bookish goodness. I’m partnering up with the team behind the day to help get the word out and will be sharing plenty of content in the run up and from the day itself too. There are three events on during the day itself and you can get tickets here. I’ve signed up for all of the events and am SO excited about them. Today, I thought I would share some of the main reasons why I think you should come too!
1) It’s in Preston. That’s right, Preston. There are no treks to London here. It is so exciting to have an event up in t’north. I can even day trip it and save on hotel fares. If you don’t live in the capital and usually miss out on events as a result, this is the perfect chance to indulge in some bookish nerdiness.
2) There are a whole host of fantastic authors attending the event. Across the three events, you can hear from writers such as Holly Black, Anna Day and Annabel Pitcher and a whole lot more. How exciting does that sound? In fact there are so many fantastic writers involved that I have a massive TBR before the event itself. I’m not really mad about that at all though.
3) It’s free. Free!
For more information, make sure that you are following The Northern YA Literary Festival on Twitter. You can find them at @NYALitFest . It looks like it is going to be a wonderful day.
Hopefully, I’ll see some of you there!
P.S This isn’t a sponsored post. I’m working with The Northern YA Literary Festival because it sounds fantastic and is something that I am VERY excited about.
