Yep! It’s that time again!
May’s Wildest Dreams box was centred around the theme of ‘Female Voices’ so you can bet that I was excited for it. This month’s box did not disappoint. As always, look away now if you don’t want to see any spoilers!
Sorted? Good. Let’s get started.
It was beautifully packaged as always, which I immediately ripped into in my excitement. Inside was a whole host of goodies waiting for me. The first thing that I saw was some seriously tasty ginger biscuits that did not last very long at all. I know I was meant to wait to enjoy them with the book and a cuppa but I do not have enough patience for that!
This month’s tea sounds lush. It’s a Chamomile & Lemongrass blend, designed to help you reset and picked by Holly Bourne. I can’t wait to try this.
We also had a soap which was inspired by The Bone Season series by Samantha Shannon. This smells SO good but I have actually passed it on to my mum as scented products are a bit of a no-no for me at the moment. She seemed pretty chuffed by it and has promised to report back soon.
On to the book!
This month, the box included I Stop Somewhere by T.E Carter. This is about Ellie, who suffers a brutal assault and realises that she wasn’t the first – or last – victim. This looks like it will be a difficult and challenging read, but seriously worthwhile. I think I’m going to save this for a weekend where I have plenty of time to devout to it.
This time around we were also lucky enough to get some extras from the author, who sent bookplates, bookmarks and other goodies to enjoy along side their book.
Just look at it all together!
