Hands up if you like Italian food? I certainly do.

All that pasta and pizza is a dream come true for me. And if you are looking for Italian food with a modern twist, you really should be checking out Cena in Yarm. Here, you’ll find good quality food, super helpful staff and a good looking cocktail list. While I can’t verify the cocktails personally from this trip, I can highly rate the food!

Recently, myself and some family members decided to check out Cena for ourselves and we were not disappointed. We sat outside to take advantage of the summer sun and it was such a lovely, relaxed meal. The staff were more than happy to help us with anything that we needed and really did make us feel at home. We were dining with someone who has some food restrictions and they were more than happy to answer questions about the menu and adapt where they could.

Now, on to the food!

First up was my Mum’s choice: a pea, leek and broad bean risotto with crushed hazelnuts. This was beautiful and so fresh!¬†All four of us ended up trying this and we all agreed it was a good choice.

And finally, the superstar of the meal….

My grandad chose the Crab Macaroni and it was insane. We all kept digging in because it just tasted that good. It was super tasty and rich, with plenty of flavour. If this is on the menu the next time I go to Cena, this is what I would be choosing! It’s well worth trying if you get the chance!

If you are ever looking for somewhere for lunch in Yarm, you might just want to try Cena for yourself.

Thank you,

Kelly x
