THINGS TO EAT: Maggie’s Place

Ladies and gentlemen, are you looking for a cute cafe in Darlington? Well look no further. I’ve found my new favourite and I’m ready to share it with you.

I can’t take all the credit however, since it was my nana who took me to Maggie’s Place on my most recent trip. I’d visited it before but not for quite a while so I’d somehow managed to forget how much I liked it. Luckily, it didn’t take long for me to realise why I used to enjoy a trip to Maggie’s Place.

We popped in for a late lunch. We decided to go for some super tasty sandwiches, which were just what we needed after spending the morning exploring our local area. I went very traditional with a ham and cheese sarnie. It was a good un, trust me.DSCN8625

If you fancied something a little different, there’s a whole host of options available for you. If, like me, you have a sweet tooth, I can definitely recommend the cakes. I didn’t have one this time, but they looked amazing. There was also a pretty incredible selection to choose from.DSCN8627

DSCN8628Ultimately, Maggie’s Place is a cute little coffee shop that is ideal for catching up with your friends with coffee and cake or swinging by for a tasty lunch. It’s really reasonably priced with super friendly staff too.

Something tells me that I’m probably going to be spending a lot of time here now that I’m back in Darlington for a little while!
