Yesterday, at 10.30 am, my graduation ceremony began. By lunchtime, I was a graduate of the University of St Andrews. For the first time in four years, my feet crossed the PH as I joined my peers in an academic procession. I smiled, I cried, and I felt I would burst with pride. Not just for me and the blood, sweat and tears that brought me here. But for everyone who I worried and stressed beside for the last four years. For the friends who are off to shake up the world in their own ways. For the fact that this is it, the moment when we carve out a new chapter for ourselves.
For all of us, and for myself, and for everyone who will follow in our footsteps in the years to come.
It feels good, guys. It feels really, really good.
