Hello everyone!
I’m Steph from alittlebutalot.wordpress.com and I’m here to talk to you today! Your gorgeous usual host Kelly invited me to her blog to talk about ANYTHING I wanted… I figured since I liked books (and because rainbow books please me so much) I would write a quick post about some of the books on my TBR shelf… (and make them look pretty in somewhat of a rainbow!)
Three Dark Crowns – Kendare Blake
Kelly recommended this to me herself and I rushed out and bought it pretty soon after, but since then it’s just sat on my TBR
Cuckoo Song – Frances Hardinge
I read The Lie Tree a while back and I absolutely loved it. I bought this not long after in London but it’s just sat there since. I will get round to reading it, when I’m in the need of some dark and gritty fiction!
Mad Girl – Bryony Gordon
I read a few pages of this a while back but then other bits of fiction shouted louder to me to be read, so I gave in. I need more non-fiction in my life so this would be a good start!
Super Awkward – Beth Garrod
I bought this quite a while ago now and it just sits on my shelf every time. I reread the blurb quite often and think “yes, I will read that next!” but then something shiny takes over my brain (like the magpie that I am!)
Chasing the Stars – Malorie Blackman
Now I think I’m one of the only readers to admit this but I haven’t read anything else by Malorie Blackman (I know, I know, I’m a terrible human. You will have to forgive me) but when I saw this cover I knew I HAD to have it. I MEAN JUST LOOK AT IT.
The Hate U Give – Angie Thomas
I know. I know. Again. Who am I? What am I doing with my life? I have had THUG for a while now. I bought it when it initially came out. I know this book has an amazing message to deliver and I will definitely get round to reading it in the summer (when I have a lot of time to myself!)
Thank you so much for reading! I really enjoyed thinking about books that have been on my TBR which could be part of the rainbow! Thank you Kelly for having me! It’s been a pleasure!
If you’d like to check out my blog, please do! I review all kinds of books – YA, kids books and picture books are my speciality…
Until next time,
S x
