THINGS TO EAT: Tea With Alice

There’s no payday treat quite like brunch, is there? At the very least, there isn’t for me! Which is how I found myself at Tea With Alice out for brunch with my housemate.

Now I have eaten at Tea With Alice before but my food was so lush that I ate it all before I could snap it for you guys. Luckily for me, it meant that I had to go again so that I could share it all with you.

IMG_9152[1]Tea With Alice is definitely one for my Darlington friends. It’s a little out of the way as it is in West Park but it is well worth a visit. It is relaxed and homely, with seriously good food. With that it mind, it is worth saying that this isn’t the speediest place but it is worth the wait. It is more about friendly, relaxed service that will definitely make you smile.

Let’s move on to the food, shall we?

IMG_9153[1]I’ll start with Amy’s. She went for the Sausage, Egg and Cheese muffin and by all accounts it was delicious! It certainly looked the part, especially since the yolk was just the right amount of runny…

IMG_9155[1]I was slightly more basic and went for avocado on toast, with the addition of a poached egg and bacon. It was beyond tasty and filling. It was packed with so much flavour that it was unbelievable and just what I needed on a Saturday morning.

After some difficulty in deciding what to order, I am glad that I went for this as it was absolutely lush. I guess I will just need to go back again to try the rest! Did someone say new payday tradition?
