Every now and then I stumble across a great new foodie place that has me reaching for my camera and desperate to share it on this corner of the internet. Most recently, that place was The Health Warehouse in Darlington.
I’ve called into The Health Warehouse on a fair few occasions (usually to stock up on their beautiful chocolate crunch bar) but had yet to try their cafe. Tucked away in the back of their shop, it’s fairly recent and seriously underrated.
Mum and I called in on her lunch break as we wanted something yummy but light and not too expensive. I can happily say it met all of our criteria. The food was quick, well priced and seriously scrummy! We even had enough left for leftovers the next day.
The menu is completely vegetarian so it was so much fun to go for something totally different. There is also loads of vegan and gluten free options on the menu too which was a nice surprise.
As soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted the Halloumi Salad and it was divine. It was way too filling though so I had plenty left for lunch the next day.
There’s so much more on the menu that I want to try that I’m sure I’ll be paying a second visit to The Health Warehouse next time I am in town. I’ll make sure I’m super hungry though as I really don’t want to have to abandon those fries for a second time…
Have you ever visited The Health Warehouse ?
