This year I am on a real mission to shop small as much as I can. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not perfect and I do still have an Amazon Prime subscription but I’m determined to try and support smaller businesses as much as I can this year.
Something tells me that I’m not the only one who feels this way this year so I thought it might be a nice idea to share some ideas with you guys too! I’m going to be sharing some ideas with you all on this blog this year and don’t forget that you can always check out my Christmas interviews from smaller business from last year too! (You can find those here).
For today though, I thought I would share a few brands that might help you bring something a little glamorous to someone’s gift this year. Shall we get started?
Now, it’s been a busy old year for everyone. I don’t know about you guys but I feel like I need some time to switch off and relax over Christmas. A PJ day, a hot chocolate, some terrible Christmas films… it sounds perfect! And some luxurious pyjamas will add just a little glam to my R&R time. IDentity Lingerie have beautiful black silk pyjamas *that are truly stunning. Plus, lots of them are currently on sale!
They were also kind enough to send me this beautiful black nightgown* which is truly stunning. I’ve become a convert to nightgowns in recent years but this is far prettier than anything in my drawer at the moment. Something tells me this is soon going to become a new favourite!
Plus, you could always pair it with one of the new Christmas crackers from Bowe Organics. The new crackers are the perfect way to introduce someone to the Bowe Organics brand and is such an elevated way of giving someone a lip balm. My mum spotted this in my house recently and was very intrigued by it!
Another firm favourite of mine is Poppy Love Candles! I think the new black glass candles are so classy and the range of scents is truly phenomenal. For a more budget friendly option, you could also pick up some of their wax melts. These last for ages and truly fill a room. I have a little stash of my own in my living room because I just can’t settle on one favourite scent. I have also gifted these before and they always go down a treat! Plus, Zoe is so helpful that she can really help you make a gift a little bit more special.
Finally, a great stocking stuffer would be a reusable face mask. I know, I know but this is the reality of our lives now. We all need them so something a little sleeker is a plus. I can’t wait to try this black satin mask* from IDentity Lingerie for myself.
And there you have it, three great independent brands and six different gift options to bring a little bit of glam to your presents this year! Which was your favourite?
