Guys I am so excited to share today’s post with you! After months of excitement, it was finally time to enjoy Label. It did mean a night out out on a school night but I’ll forgive Jo for the Friday morning tiredness. It was worth it.
Though I’ve been fairly in loop with Label, I hadn’t seen any of the show before the day so I was feeling all of the feelings when I finally got to see the result of so much hard work.
The show stuck to its ethos of inclusivity throughout the show and cheers ricocheted through the room as the models took to the stage, some choosing to share their stories as they strutted down the catwalk in some BEAUTIFUL clothes. I practically punched the air when we were invited to join the revolution of self love. Hearing such inspirational messages all night, I certainly left the fashion show walking a little taller.
The show was also interspersed with some amazing dance performances which, paired with the brilliant set by Pink Eye on Picture Day at the after party, meant that every guest had the chance to enjoy themselves. It was a party and that meant one thing: my dad dancing came out to play.
Luckily, I was wearing my sassy boots so you can bet that it was some of my best moves yet.
I paired my favourite boots with a jazzy dress and statement necklace.
Thank you so much Label for throwing a fashion show that I’ll be remembering with a smile for a long, long time…
